Careers & Opportunities in the Film & TV Industry Post COVID-19

Join Head of Film & Television Peter George and Senior Lecturer Matt Kaylor as they discuss the post COVID-19 landscape for careers, internships and pathways in the Australian film & TV industry.

Peter George:
He is a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), University of Melbourne. As a producer, director, writer, interviewer, and script editor, Peter brings a resume of credit and awards to JMC Academy.As a filmmaker, major credits include the award winning documentaries Original Schtick, Schtick Happens, The Dream of Love, Not So Straight and The Triangle Wars, and fiction films Absence and William. Almost all of Peter's films have travelled widely around the globe.

Peter has also worked as a copywriter, a book editor, an industry consultant, an advertising account executive and was the former editor of If Magazine.

Matt Kaylor:
Has over 18 years of broadcast industry experience and since 2008 he has taught media, journalism, film and TV production within the further and higher education sectors in the UK. He has been a personal tutor, module leader and final year project supervisor.
